In 2016, AXA embarked on its largest digital transformation to date with the Move-to-the-Cloud program to accelerate innovation while prioritizing data protection and business continuity. Using Amazon Web Services (AWS), AXA Germany can easily comply with the complex and changing security requirements that apply within its heavily regulated industry. These requirements include the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), the German IT Security Act 2.0, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
